@vincent I’m enjoying learning Flutter at the moment. Still wish it had a decent included GUI in the dev tools for quick prototyping though.

@vincent I dip into classics using OpenEmu on my Mac.

@vincent the older I get, the more I just want to be the guy who just sends out HTML, CSS, bit of JS. Working on the metric of “I paid the bills this month, cool”, pour a coffee or grab a beer.

@issimonwoods I keep the Firefox developer release as it’s handy for debugging, but I’ve recently moved back to Safari as my main browser. I’ve had a good few years using Firefox but it’s really gone downhill.

@timapple have you ever tried imapsync.lamiral.info to move IMAP accounts? I’ve used it for server migrations and never had any issues. There is an online version of it now too.

@danielpunkass absolutely 😎

@maique oh man, there goes the next half hour! Very cool 😎 How long until you can 3D print your own I wonder 🤔

@mroutley I think I just missed out on the older iOS app (I got version 3 for the Mac). Looking on Twitter the new version should be out on iOS later in the year though, and I’m sure it’ll be my go-to app for lots of things.

@pimoore very cool 😎 I hadn’t heard of Tufte before.

@pimoore thanks! Really looking forward to working on it. I can’t remember where I first heard of Parcel, I think it was Daring Fireball or Michael Tsai about 18 months ago. Can’t fault it.

@AlanGMarz every time I fire up the BBC app I regret it. Even with customisation the homepage just seems quicker to find news. I watched a great talk at Design It: Build It a few years ago with one of the development team, but it just doesn’t achieve its goals for me.

@josephaleo I went over to NNW when Brent relaunched it - it was my first RSS app on macOS and I’ve always had an affinity for it. I was really impressed with Reeder though.

@pimoore that’s it! I thought it was a really novel idea, I’d never heard of it before.

@pimoore is it Reeder that had the option to emphasise letters for speed reading? I thought that was really good.

@pimoore I tried version 4 (I think), and I was really impressed.

@pimoore maybe send them a feature request? Worth a try!

@pimoore I blame my age, things were more convoluted “way back when” 🤣 Hope it works for Reeder too 👍

@ajennische I wouldn’t class it as self improvement to be honest, I’m not a fan of that stuff either. Josh’s newsletter is a good mix of links, and I enjoyed it that much when he announced the $5 premium list I signed up.

@ajennische I can’t recommend For The Interested highly enough. It’s brilliant.
